Dubuque

The live racing season for Dubuque Greyhound Park runs from May through October. There is a casino on the premises. Hours are 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. Sunday through Thursday; and 24 hours a day on Friday and Saturday.

Council Bluffs

Bluffs Run Casino has live greyhound racing all year. There are 15 races a day starting at 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Kansas

Valley Center

Wichita Greyhound Track has live greyhound racing Wednesday through Sunday and simulcasting action starting at 11 a.m. seven days a week. Every Sunday matinee features a rolling superfecta wager known as the "Super Roll." The Super Roll begins in Race 1. If no one picks all four top finishers in a superfecta, half of the pool will be paid out to those with a "closest to" ticket and the other half will roll over to the next superfecta. This will continue until someone has a winning ticket with all of the four top finishers. Admission is free.

Kansas City

The Woodlands features live racing year round. Races begin at 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays; there are races at 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Wisconsin

Kenosha

The track at Dairyland Greyhound Park is heated by about five miles of insulated plastic tubing located six inches beneath surface which carry a heated "anti-freeze" and water mixture. The park features live racing all year long. Admission to the grandstand is $1 for adults, 50 cents for children 12 and under. Admission to the second floor Sports Lounge or the third-floor Clubhouse and Dining Room is $3. Seniors 55 years of age and older get free admission to Wednesday matinees. Children under 18 need to be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. General parking costs $1; there is free parking during non-live, simulcast-only performances.

Delavan

Geneva Lakes Kennel Club, at the intersection of Hwy. 50 and Interstate 43, has live racing year round. The facility features a tiered Clubhouse Restaurant with tableside color monitors. Those who want to make the most of their experience may wish to take advantage of the Delavan Suite on the penthouse level, a private suite that has its own bar, fireplace, open-air patio and private mutuel window. Admission to the grandstand is $1 for adults, 50 cents for children 12 and under. Clubhouse admission is $2.50. Races begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and at 7:15 p. m. on Friday and Saturday. There is simulcasting every day except Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.

West Virginia

Wheeling

Wheeling Downs, located at Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center, has live racing all year long. The facility, which hosts more than 2 million people each year, features a 151-room hotel, more than 2,400 slot machines, a 550 seat showroom, and several restaurants. There are 20 greyhound races Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 1 p.m. There are 15 races on Fridays and Saturdays at 1 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m.

Cross Lanes

Tri-State Greyhound Park and Gaming Center calls itself a "racino." The park has live greyhound racing every day except Tuesday. Simulcasts are offered seven days a week. The 33,000 square foot casino, which has 1,000 slots, is open every day from 11 a.m. until 3 a.m. Parking is free.
